Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja achieved parenthood when they delivered a baby boy on August 20. It was a moment of joy for everyone including me. The actress had then shared the news on social media about welcoming her baby. The excitement doubled today as the parents named their son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. While sharing the first picture of their son, Sonam and Anand also explained the meaning of Vayu.
Before elaborating further, here’s a look at the post:
I must say the couple were looking adorable while twinning their orange traditional outfits. The sight of the them holding the baby and still loving each other is heartwarming.
Sonam writes…
In the spirit of the force that has breathed new meaning into our lives…
In the spirit of Hanuman and Bheem who embody immense courage and strength…
In the spirit of all that is sacred, life-giving and eternally ours, we seek blessings for our son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja.
In Hindu scriptures Vayu is one of the paanch tatvas. He is the deity of breath, the spiritual father of Hanuman, Bheem and Madhav and He is the incredibly powerful lord of wind.
Praana is Vayu, a guiding force of life and intelligence in the universe.
All the deities of Praana, Indra, Shiva and Kali relate to Vayu.
He can breathe life into beings as easily as he can destroy evil. Vayu is said to be heroic, brave and mesmerizingly beautiful.
Thank you for your continued wishes and blessings for Vayu and his family.
The couple nicely explained the meaning of their son’s name in accordance with the Hindu mythology. Recently, the parents had shared a few pictures on the occasion of one of the baby’s birth. The Boss Baby cake in the picture was the highlight of the event.
