Last week when Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 premiered on ColorsTV, I was super thrilled to see the amazing stunts that the contestants performed right on day one. This year, the set of contestants are super impressive, all of them are strong and super entertaining at the same time. What I also love about them is that none of them believes in giving up and talking about not giving up, reminds me of boss lady Rubina Dilaik. Yes, during an exclusive interview with us, Rubina spoke about how she never gave up on the show, even when she performed the scariest stunt and faced her biggest fear on the Rohit Shetty-hosted show.
Well, Rubina surely is having a ball of a time in Cape Town as she shoots for the show, watch this amazing reel from her here:

On taking up Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 12…
I actually did not have a daily soap, so there was no commitment that would have kept me behind. And it is once in a lifetime opportunity, I can’t let go of it.
On the fears, she has had as a child…
I was scared of many things. I don’t want to speak about my fears because they manifest themselves. But now since I have done those stunts, I can speak about them. I am majorly water phobic, I have claustrophobia, I am scared of creepy crawlies, darkness. I freeze to death in cold, literally, the list goes on.
On the feeling she gets, facing the biggest of fears…
It happens with every stunt that I overcome. The first fear I faced was the freezing to death kind of a thing, it was midnight, I was put in an icebox, minus degree temperature and I am bruised all over. Then I am thrown into the middle of the ocean. When I came up, there was just one thing on my mind that I yelled, ‘I am alive’. That feeling is so exhilarating that you cannot put it in words. After that I lost sensation in my arm and I was in great pain, I took 20-25 minutes to regain my body temperature. But that feeling of coming up and taking that breath, I still remember that.
On one takeaway from Khatron Ke Khiladi…
There is nothing that you can’t do. You will realize it once you cross that threshold. I have been bruised to the extent where my should was numb, but that not giving up was something that I kept bruising it again and again, but I wanted to reach that point. I know one thing, I am not going to die here, so rather finish it. I take my own sweet time, I am not competing against anyone, but myself, so I will not quit.
