Koffee With Karan Season 7 trailer has just dropped in telling us about the timings, the guest list and more details about the show; we revisit some of the most coveted style files from the show.
The Koffee Couch is nothing short of a red carpet. It sees a plethora of Bollywood‘s biggest stars dress their best and grace the show with their presence, witty answers, inside jokes, candour and obviously their style statements.
This time around as we can’t keep calm for the latest season of the show to be aired on Disney+Hotstar, we revisit some of our favorite Koffee Styles donned by leading Bollywood women throughout the last 6 seasons of the show.
1) Kareena Kapoor Khan
Bebo knows how to style it right and she never misses an opportunity to make a fashion statement. From midi dresses, to gowns, to preggo fashion goals, to sequin numbers, our Bolly Kween has done it all. KKK has her way around on the Koffee couch and with the Koffee master. As KJo says, Kareena is a Koffee veteran and she truly aces it all like one.
2) Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Be it in India or in the States, PCJ knows how to get a storm whirring. She truly is a global icon from midi skirts, long a-line dresses, plunging necklines, regal gowns or just boss lady style pantsuits: PC has aced the style game and it has been on point. In fact, she kept taking it up a notch higher and higher every season. Piggy Chops set the tongues wagging with her rapid fires and her stunning style files that we’ll have saved in our archives for the many seasons to come.
3) Alia Bhatt
Aloo B is KJo’s student after all and she has done him proud, quite literally: be it with her performances on celluloid or just her fabulous fashion files. She made her Koffee debut donning an elegant egg shell, sweetheart neckline dress and progressed to make some stellar appearances with mermaid cut gowns, sequin dresses or just a classic pant suit. A style game that’s worthy of praise, ladies and gentlemen.
4) Deepika Padukone
Padukone has us floored with her fashion game at the Cannes, the Koffee couch is a piece of cake for her. From making a cameo alongside Farah Khan and Sharukh Khan in the second season to making quite some controversial statements with Sonam in season 3 and going on to become a Koffee blockbuster: Dippy has sure come a long way. From short dresses, to leather pants and the classic monotone look in the last season: we have our jaws on the floor with every look.
5) Sonam Kapoor
Sonam Kapoor is a true blue fashionista of our times. She has made her way in the fashion world one look at a time. From checkered prints, pant suits, metallic dresses and experimental silhouettes: Sonam Kapoor has made multiple appearances on the Koffee couch with actress Deepika Padukone, dad Anil Kapoor and Veere Di Wedding co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan. With every look, she has made the fashion gurus proud and we can’t wait to see more of her in the upcoming seasons of the show.
6) Kajol
Kajol has dared to don a saree on the Koffee couch and like she has us smitten with her multiple performances on the big screen, she has weaved a sense of magic with her presence on the Koffee couch. Our personal favourite has to the appearance has to be the one she made with hubby dearest Ajay Devgn in a boat neck, body hugging, midi black dress with pumps and sweet heavens; she looks lovely!
7) Katrina Kaif
From meeting the love of her life on the Koffee couch to appearing on the couch with her Bolly BFF Anushka Sharma and discussing the existence of the ‘I Hate Katrina Kaif’ club. Kat has made some strikingly impressive appearances, adding a pop of colour on to our TV screens with some of the prettiest colours she has donned over the seasons.
8) Sushmita Sen
Sushmita Sen is truly Miss Universe and when she strutted onto the show donning a gorgeous sequin peach saree to say we were floored is an understatement. The saree beautifully hugged her in just the right place and accentuated her curves. We’re absolutely in awe of this look and it takes us back to the Main Hoon Na days, well Sush still has that aura in place.
9) Kriti Sanon
Kriti Sanon made her Koffee debut in the last season but the leggy lass did not disappoint. She made a gorgeous case in a short golden sequin dress. The dress worked beautifully for her height. She looked chic as ever and added a touch of bling to the Koffee couch with her gold look.
