Bombay is currently experiencing a heatwave and with that, we are ready to plan a beach vacay to chill and take a nice long cooling dip in the ocean. With this comes the ultimate problem, what kind of bathing suit should one opt for and where can one find good quality swimwear. Of course, without any question or doubt in my mind, I looked to our leading ladies and their Insta profiles to see what kind of swimwear is trending currently and as usual, they did not disappoint. Scroll on to see our favourite beach OOTD looks from our Bollywoods kweens.
Here are 7 times Bollywood celebrities served us major inspo for our upcoming summer vacations:
1) Sara Ali Khan
Love how Sara expresses who she is in spirit with her colourful striped-tube bandeau and high-waisted bottoms.
2) Priyanka Chopra
Looking to make a statement? This sunflower yellow one-piece swimsuit PC wears is perfect for your Insta-worthy picture. Also, a great way to show off those collar bones and that cleavage.
3) Katrina Kaif
Keep it simple in a plain black full-piece suit, just make sure to add a statement accessory like an oversized sun hat. A great way to shield yourself from the sun and to look stylish as well. If it were me I would use the hat to cover my face and fall asleep on the beach.
4) Janhvi Kapoor
A floral bikini with a matching sarong is a great way to swim and grab a bite at a restaurant after. Especially if you’re not looking for a very elaborate cover-up and hate the idea of something sticking to you while you air-dry.
5) Ananya Panday
Love Ananya’s tangerine, checkered two-piece, it’s just the perfect colour for fun in the sun and that shrug like cover-up is also a fantastic way to style one’s bathing suit.
6) Jacqueline Fernandes
A corset-style swimsuit can really frame and hugs one’s curves in all the right ways. Especially love this cobalt blue, animal print piece because it’s such a statement in itself and barely requires any accessories to take it to the next level.
7) Alaya F
A classic solid colour two-piece bikini can really go a long way. Opt for colours like white, mustard and ochre, since they really stand out against Indian skin tones really well.
