Zareen Khan has been a part of showbiz for the last 12 years, and in this while, she has blown me away with her charm countless times. The actress’ unabashed nature while speaking her mind is what actually attracts me the most about her. Be it about her professional life or personal one, she has never minced her words and called out things as they are. She has been in a relationship with ex-Bigg Boss contestant Shivashish Mishra for a while, and she has been open about it too.
Recently, as I got to converse with her, I asked her about her relationship and how it has changed her and helped her evolve. The smile that came on her face as she took Shivashish’s name just said it all for me, and she had some beautiful things to say about him and their relationship.
Zareen shared,
“It’s exactly been a year since we met. We had been friends before and I met him during the shoot of a film in Indore as he hails from there. I was shooting with Karanvir Bohra and they are friends as they had done Bigg Boss together, which I had no idea about, so that’s how we met. It started off as friendship and I still think that more than being lovers, we are just great friends with each other. We are very similar people and that just works. The whole point is to be happy and have fun and that’s what we do. When we come together, it’s fun as we forget all our worries. He makes me happy.”
I couldn’t help but gush over the innocence and cuteness of their relationship, and as I ask her who is the more romantic one between them, she has a very adorable reply to it.
She responds,
“I think that is the greatest thing that we both are very practical people. That is where we kind of click as nobody between us is like that hard core romantic. We are more like friends, like buddies. The first time we met also, I referred to him as bro or buddy as I have always been tomboy-ish. There was no romantic angle initially and that’s what worked. If someone hears us talking to each other, it’s like two buddies talking and having fun.”
Zareen and Shivashish look too cute and adorable together, and the romantic in me feels so glad to see that they found each other. I also feel so lucky that I got to speak to her on the exact day that Zareen completed one year of meeting him. I just wish them lots of love and laughter. They do make me believe in the concept of true love!
