The song is all about the celebration of love and the light it brings with itself in the soulful voice of Arijit Singh. Set in the streets of Varanasi, Ranbir and Alia bring out the essence of love so beautifully in this song, and I must admit, their real-life love reflects on screen as well. This is the first time for the duo to be uniting on screen and there just couldn’t have been a better way to mark this feat. The way Ranbir looks at Alia in the last frame is just so beautiful that I can’t help but root for this couple on and off the screen.
Ranbir and Alia’s wedding is turning out to be the most awaited event of the year for the whole nation and I don’t think there could have been a better start to the celebrations than Kesariya. Ayan has indeed given the most special gift to not only the couple, but also to their fans, with this song.
