I am literally out of words after watching the amazing trailer of Hurdang. The Sunny Kaushal, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Vijay Varma starrer seems so promising that I am legit waiting for 8th April now. I must say, I am so impressed with Sunny as Daddu Thakur in the film, from the nuances to the accent to the body language, the actor has just left me spellbound. As for Nushrratt, her simpleton small-town girl avatar is truly amusing. While the gripping trailer reflects the revolution of love, change and equality, it is Sunny’s portrayal as an IAS aspirant that is impeccable throughout.
Watch the film’s trailer here:
Set in the Allahabad of 1990, Sunny is heading a student rebellion, while Nusshratt plays his love interest adding just the right spark to their chemistry. But what also has my heart from the trailer is the new rendition of Kya Yahi Pyaar hai playing in the backdrop. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Hurdang is produced under the banners of T-series, Karma Entertainment, and Gothic Entertainment.
I must say, film after film both Sunny and Nushrratt are only raising the bar high. After Jaggi from Shiddat, watching Sunny as Daddu Thakur has left me very impressed. Talking about Nusshratt, the lady has an amazing line-up and with every film, she is only making me fall in love with her acting prowess. Now, with these two brilliant actors sharing the frame, it is truly a hurdang that we will see unfold on the big screen. Having said that, Vijay’s role in the film looks quite mysterious and I am eager to see what the actor has in store for us.
Other than Hurdang, Sunny also has Mili in the pipeline. As for Nushrratt, there is Ram Setu, Janhit Mein Jaari, Selfiee, and Chhorii 2 coming up in the future. While there is so much in store for us, I simply can’t keep calm for Hurdang.
