‘To Be A Lead Actor, There’s A Certain Mindset, A Certain Agression Which You Need; I Don’t Have That’ – Arshad Warsi

Arshad Warsi will be seen next in Bachchhan Paandey alongside Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon and I’m already loving the actor in the trailer of the film. The actor is indeed a delight to watch on-screen and one wishes to see him more often. But what’s so amazing about him is how he remains so honest about his choices or the fact that sometimes things haven’t clicked for him.

When recently during the promotions of Bachchhan Paandey, the actor was asked about why he’s not seen often despite being such a good actor, here’s what he had to say.

Arshad said,

“There’s a luck factor which plays an important role. Everyone has their own path to go by and I’m like this. I take my time, I’m slow. Everyone has their own personality. My way of thinking or approach or the way I work is not the optimum way to work in the film industry, honestly speaking. To be a lead actor, there’s a certain mindset, a certain aggression which you need. I don’t have that. ‘m lazy but after doing one film with Akshay, I’m all messed up. I can’t sit at home now (Laughs)!”

The actor also further opened up about his experience working with Akshay Kumar and said,

“I knew about him as a person and actor but when you meet personally and interact, that’s when you know what’s happening. He’s a nice chap and a good person at heart. That’s purely one of the reasons why guys like him never fade out.”

I’m really looking forward to seeing these two actors on-screen and here’s hoping we see more of Arshad on-screen, now that he admits Akshay’s energy has rubbed off on him. Bachchhan Paandey is set to release this Holi, on March 18.
