Hrithik Roshan & Deepika Padukone’s Aerial Actioner ‘Fighter’ To Now Release On September 28, 2023

This is a very exciting period going on currently for all cinema nerds like me as every other day, I am getting to see either new announcements or release dates unveiling of some much-awaited releases. Amongst the latter falls Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone‘s maiden collaboration Fighter, and it has been one of the most awaited project ever since its announcement as it brings together two of the biggest superstars this country has ever seen. And now, I have a new date for it, making the wait all the more exciting.

The makers took to social media last night to announce that the Hrithik, Deepika and Anil Kapoor-starrer will be now be releasing on September 28, 2023, and it is being touted as India’s first aerial action film. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and will mark Deepika’s second straight action outing with him after Pathaan opposite Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, which is releasing in January 2023. Fighter is presented by Viacom 18 Studios in association with MARFLIX.

It was at some party from where a video of Hrithik feeding cake to Deepika did the rounds on the internet and got viral. Even Deepika referred to Hrithik as ‘Death By Chocolate’ then, and it was that video that sparked curiosity amongst the audience, including me, to see this duo come together on the big screen. And in just a few months, the announcement of Fighter happened.

The coming together of these two bonafide superstars is no mean feat, thus their collaboration had to be something special. With Fighter being the first aerial action film in India, it just serves that purpose right. With Hrithik and Deepika together on screen, there will surely be too much gorgeousness in one frame and I can’t wait to see this duo create magic on the screen. I am sure it will be unforgettable.
