It’s going to be raining movies in the theatres from February onwards and a series of big movies will release back-to-back starting with Gangubai Kathiawadi. This news just makes me so happy because the industry and trade is all hopeful for the movie-business to bloom again and losses to get recovered.
The cherry on the cake is that, this Alia Bhatt–Ajay Devgn starrer, Sanjay Leela Bhansali film will have a massive, first of its kind trailer launch on February 4. Interestingly, PVR, Inox, Carnival cinemas, Cinepolis and Miraj Cinemas will all come together and hold the trailer launch simultaneously. This is really a big news and shows how the entire industry has united to fight against the losses caused due to the pandemic.

Trade analysts have really admired the fact that a big name like Sanjay Leela Bhansali is brave enough to kick-start the release of big movies, since that’s what will give courage for others to follow suit. Before Gangubai Kathiawadi, even Badhaai Do is set to have a theatrical release on Feburary 11.
Post that, there’s a long list of those big-scale movies awaiting release like Amitabh Bachchan’s Jhund, Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam, Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey and S.S Rajamouli’s RRR. I totally cannot wait for these biggies to roll out, but before that, I eagerly await the trailer of Gangubai Kathiawadi!
