The OTT space has grown tremendously in recent times and it’s not just actors but even big banners who are opting to explore the medium. But what amazes me is how the platform has let many actors establish their identities on the web-space with some brilliant performances, one such actor is Divyendu Sharma. After impressing me with his acting chops in Mirzapur and Bicchoo Ka Khel, Divyendu is now gearing up for another web show called The Railway Men. The show is based around the Bhopal Gas Tragedy and Divyendu has been pushing the envelope with exhausting night shoots. Alongside Divyendu, the show also stars R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, and Babil Shah.
Talking about the shoot, Divyendu says…
I am mostly doing night shoots since the show is based on the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. I have been shooting at nights the entire past month and covering up on my sleep in the days which has been exhausting and I can undoubtedly say that it is the toughest shoot of my life till date. But it is definitely all worth it because as an actor, it is a satisfying feeling to be a part of such an important story and be able to work with such an amazing and talented team of co-stars.

Well, I am quite excited about the show, especially after learning about its subject. Another reason that has me excited is that The Railway Men is backed by Yash Raj Films and it is the production’s debut in the OTT space.
But this is not it from Divyendu, if reports are to be believed, we will also see him in an Imtiaz Ali project soon. The other project in his kitty has been the film Mere Desh Ki Dharti.
I must say, I have always liked how Divyendu gets into the skin of his characters so effortlessly, and going by the hard work he is putting in his latest show is making me look forward to the project.
