Ayushmann Khurrana is still reigning in glory of his last performance, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, and that’s no surprise because the film in its entirety – the message, narrative, performances – was so good that I can’t get over it still! But it’s not just Ayushmann’s on-screen performances that have made him so popular amongst the youth. His chilled-out vibe and a huge array of talents that he has – has won hearts including mine!
I’ve been following the actor on social media for a while and I totally love his captions, tone of writing and poems. So, I thought, let me pick for you guys, 5 poems from the actor which are worth a read. Also, I’m sure, many of you would resonate with these. Take a look.
Almaari Ki Khushbu… is my most favourite of these! Interestingly, in an interview I had asked Ayushmann about his love for writing, where I also enquired if he would write a script someday. To which he responded,
“I write poetry. I love writing but it’s not like I can do it anytime anywhere. I need to be away from everything, concentrate if I want to write and as of now I don’t have the time. Maybe when I do have time, I might have my book of poems or a script too someday, hopefully.”
I hope that happens soon because all the fans would love his book of poems. As far as a film script is concerned, the actor is already appreciated so much for choosing such unique scripts so him writing a script might just be something to really be excited about!
Meanwhile, guys, you can check out Ayushmann reciting his poem here. I leave you with that, while I sign off!
Happy #WorldPoetryDay
