Sanya Malhotra has been winning hearts for her Netflix release, Meenakshi Sundareshwar lately and I also belong to this admiration club. I think the girl has been slaying with her performance in every project and only getting better.
Apart from that, Sanya has also been in news lately for speculations about her being a part of ace Tamil director Arun Kumar aka Atlee’s film with Shah Rukh Khan. Reportedly, the film will be a potboiler with many big names from Bollywood and the south industry. While it’s being rumoured that Nayanthara will be SRK’s leading lady in the film, it’s also being said that Sanya has been cast to essay a crucial role.
Recently, we had the Dangal girl on Bollywood Zoomies with Shravan Shah, Entertainment Head, MissMalini; where she spoke about her journey so far. When questioned about Atlee’s film, Sanya chose to remain silent. All she said was, ‘Aiyyo!’ and dodged the question with her innocent smile.
But, she opened up a bit about her next, Samबहादुर with Meghna Gulzar which sees her re-unite with Dangal co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh. This film also stars Vicky Kaushal.
Talking about Samबहादुर, Sanya said,
“I can’t wait to be on set with Meghna ma’am and these two amazing actors, Vicky and Fatima. I’m ready with my books for studying. I’m like, ‘prep karwaao mujhse’.”
