I totally adored Sharvari when I saw Bunty Aur Babli 2 for the fact that she displayed such varied skill-sets as an actor and her smile completely lit up the screen. The actress who was seen earlier in the web series, The Forgotten Army was so different in Bunty Aur Babli 2 that this contrast is commendable.
While the film may not have done exceedingly well at the box office, Sharvari has no regrets. We recently had Sharvari on MissMalini’s Bollywood Zoomies with Entertainment Head, Shravan Shah and the actress opened up about how she felt about the film’s box-office fate.
She said,
“I think because it was my first film, it was special to me. The journey we had while filming this was so special that at the end of the day you realize that every film has its own fate. What we could do, we did it to our best and that’s all we could have done. And I personally, got really good reviews after the film, a lot of people loved my performance and for me it was really special that people went in the theatres to watch my first film, liked my performance and messaged me. Those were the feelings I was living with. It was a bitter sweet moment for sure but it gave me the opportunity to showcase my talent, to dance, to show how good I am at my craft. So, for me it was fulfilling.
Interestingly, Sharvari has worked as an AD on three films – Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Bajirao Mastani, and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. All these films have been over 100crore films. But as an actor, here’s what the lady wishes for!
Sharvari exclaimed,
“Sanjay Leela Bhansali is my dream director and I just want to be in his film. I’m manifesting this!
Well, let me manifest this as well for Sharvari, and looking at the bundle of talent that she is, I hope her dream just comes true in the near future.
