Currently in Bollywood, if there is an actress who is ruling it all, it has to be Deepika Padukone. The actress is usually the first choice for any big project and she justifies it with her work too. And her chemistry with Amitabh Bachchan in Piku was undeniably amazing, so when I got to know that the duo was reuniting for Nag Ashwin’s Project K, I knew it was going to be something grand and special. And to make sure of that, there is a new addition in this dynamic duo with Prabhas, and these three names together equate to sure shot success. The project has even got off to a flying start.
Over a week ago, Deepika flew off to Hyderabad to shoot for Project K with Prabhas and a week later, the team has wrapped up this schedule. And they celebrated that occasion in the most sumptuous way. Deepika took to her Instagram stories to show a picture of a traditional Hyderabadi food spread from the sets which made my mouth water and today, she shared a picture of the clouds from her flight as she returned from there.

Project K will mark Deepika’s return to South cinema and I am quite excited by that as the actress worked there initially when she was a newbie and now, she has re-entered there as a bonafide star. The actress also has some amazing work lined up ahead including Shakun Batra’s next with Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi, Fighter with Hrithik Roshan, The Intern remake again with the Big B and Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. She also has a release later this month with Kabir Khan’s ’83, which will also mark her first on-screen appearance with husband Ranveer Singh after their wedding three years ago. And the latter part just makes me all the more excited for this epic film.
