In just seven years since her debut with Heropanti, Kriti Sanon has risen the ranks in Bollywood, becoming one of the most sought-after actresses in the recent times. And I believe, that she is indeed one of the most talented artists to have come out of the industry in the last decade. Today, the actress is juggling abour half a dozen projects in different stages of production, and as much as I feel happy for her professional growth, I also acknowledge her dedication towards her work that have led her there. Right after returning from the UK recently, she has once again got back to the sets without any break in between.
Kriti had been in the UK for about a month to shoot for her actioner set in a dystopian world, Ganapath Part 1, that sees her reunite with her debut co-star Tiger Shroff. Four days ago, she treated her fans with a beautiful goodbye video from London, promising to return there during Christmas. And now right after coming back to India, she has flown to Delhi to start work on Rohit Dhawan’s Shehzada with Kartik Aaryan.
A source close to Kriti shares:
“Kriti returned from UK after wrapping up the first schedule of Ganapath, where she also shot for a few of her action scenes. The moment Kriti returned, she had no time to catch a breather as she had to unpack and get ready to leave for Delhi the very next day to start the shoot for her Rohit Dhawan project, Shehzada. She will be in the capital for about two weeks for her first schedule.”
Work-wise, the actress is having a momentous year until now. She had her first release of 2021 with Mimi, which I believe to be one her finest performances till date that also kind of reaffirmed her acting capabilities. Then just a month ago, she switched genres with a family romcom Hum Do Hamare Do, proving her versatility.
Up next, Kriti has Bachchan Pandey, Bhediya and Adipurush, for which she has completed the shoot for and then Ganapath Part 1 and Shehzada, which are in the middle of shooting. I have witnessed the growth of Kriti’s career as a viewer and also as someone from the industry, and I have seen how hard she works on her craft; thus, it really does feel great to see her get the kind of opportunities she deserves. And in the coming few years, she is definitely going to become a force to be reckoned with.
