1. In Payal Khandwala
Making heads turn in the ethnic fashion department, Sohbita was seen in an elegant, sheer sage green and scarlet organza saree by Indian fashion designer Payal Khandwala. She paired it with a red, half sleeves shirt that complemented her attire perfectly. Stylist Bhawna Sharma finished off her look with a pair of white heels and statement gold, dangly earrings from Curio Cottage. Loved the red rose that she adorned in her hair that amplified the look that Bollywood look that she was going for.
2. In Tarun Tahiliani
Sobhita played muse to fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani and dressed up in an ivory chikankari, anarkali from the designer’s closet. The actress always manages to put her best foot forward when it comes to fashion, and this look was no different. The graceful anarkali is heavily embroidered with mukaish work and completed with dori and gota borders. The look also featured a similarly embroidered dupatta and churidar. She accessorised her look for the day with statement, gold earrings from Amrapali Jewels.
3. In Sabyasachi
This georgette saree doesn’t feature any prints or embellishments making the beauty of the design and fabric its wow factor. It acted as the perfect blank canvas for statement jewellery and a bold makeup look. Sohbita styled it with a plain sleeveless corset. To add a little character to the outfit and cinch in the waist she accessorised her look with a tan leather Sabyasachi belt and a matching semi-circle clutch with the classic tiger motif. For her jewellery, she chose a diamond necklace that included a Ruby, Topaz and Sapphire and a set of matching earrings all by Sabyasachi Jewellery. This outfit is an excellent example of what to wear if you want the accessories to do all the talking.
4. In Tarun Tahiliani
She followed up with another look designed by Tarun Tahiliani. Decked up in a cream-and-gold, chikankari saree, Sohbita accessorised her look for the day with classic gold and pearl jewellery from Amrapali Jewellers. The lovely piece had elaborate patterns of the Lucknowi design all throughout the saree. It was also coupled with precise mukaish work and specks of gold beads and sequins. The blouse highlighted the thick embellished straps with a plunging neckline and a stylish back. This is the perfect look for your bestie’s wedding, with just the right amount of zing to stand out.
