Singer Neha Bhasin entered the Bigg Boss 15 house last week as a wild card contestant. And since then the lady has been ruffling some feathers on the show. In fact, last night we saw her having an argument with best friend Shamita Shetty as well. But her A-game is yet to be revealed, and just before she entered the show I caught up with her for an interesting conversation. Well, she had a lot to say about her stint on Bigg Boss OTT and how she plans her game for the main season.
Here are some excerpts from her exclusive interview:
On making friends and connections in the house…
I already have some friends inside, other than that, Umar Riaz, Simba Nagpal, Afsana Khan, and Jay Bhanushali seem the kind of people I would get along with. Afsana is mad and I like that. I don’t think she is a bad girl, she just shoots her mouth a lot and that can get people in trouble in the Bigg Boss house. What she told Shamita was very wrong, but she changed after that and we could appreciate that. I will not be her best friend but I like her sense of humor.
On Bigg Boss 15…
It is very different, I feel like Bigg Boss OTT was like the FRIENDS version of Bigg Boss, but it was fabulous. OTT was like a mad house it had emotions, love, animosity, madness, etc. in very high dosages. I feel BB 15 is a lot of testosterone, it a different kind of madness. The jungle theme was mad and I am really happy I wasn’t a part of it. I am happy to go in as a wild card. It has an interesting set of people who are smart. They kind of understand the game, but I feel they lack emotions.
On the Bigg Boss OTT lash back and what she wouldn’t do on Bigg Boss 15…
OTT was a very different platform, what people couldn’t understand was that they are okay with men being a certain way, but not a woman being a certain way. Even Diandra Soares had gotten a backlash in her time. I don’t think there should be a difference made in men and women. I don’t agree with the mind-sets and that will not change for me. The only thing that will be different is that I will be more focused towards wanting to be in the number 1 slot. To win the trophy and prioritize myself which I didn’t do last time. I got caught up in my friendships last time.
On being impulsive…
I am impulsive and I doubt that is going to change. In OTT I got caught up in people’s judgement about me, this time I wish I can be slightly more objective. Lot of people in the Bigg Boss house play with your mind. If you play emotionally, they prey at it, so I don’t want to fall in that trap. A lot of them are vey shrewd, so I would be mindful. And I am someone who just blasts, so I don’t have a filter, which is why it is better to keep a distance.
Well, Neha surely seems a strong contender to me, now all we have to do is wait and watch to see how her journey on the game unfolds.
