Karan Johar was felicitated by the fourth-highest civilian award, Padma Shri. The honour was done by the President of India Ram Nath Kovind at a ceremony held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi. The brilliant director was awarded Padma Shri for his exceptional contribution in the field of performing arts. So far, Karan has directed many movies that were appreciated afar.
Right after receiving the award, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director shared this prestigious experience on his Instagram for his Bollywood companions who shared their warm congratulations on the post. Ranveer Singh commented “bravo, Karan!” and later Malaika Arora, Shanaya Kapoor and several other celebs expressed their happiness for the director.
