From the time Vinod Bhanushali announced starting his own production house called Bhanushali Studios, I was looking forward to the first film under the banner. And turns out that it will be a biopic. Yes, Vinod has announced that he will be producing the film which is based on the life of Sher Singh Rana. The film is directed by Shree Narrayan Singh and it will shed light on the life of the man who created a stir in India for various reasons that too at a very just young age.
Well, I must say there is so much to Sher Singh’s life that his story needs to be told to the world. For those who don’t know, Sher Singh Rana was the man who brought back the remains of the Chauhan Dynasty ruler Prithviraj Chauhan, from Afghanistan. Other than this, he was the second man who escaped from the highly secured Tihar jail with his mindful strategy and no violence.

Talking about this project, Vinod Bhanushali says,
Sher Singh Rana has led an eventful life. It was his courage, his willpower to fight for his community and how single-handedly he did things that brought pride to Rajputs that I found interesting. Director Shree Narrayan Singh is known for telling interesting stories that also address real issues like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and I think he will bring the nuances of Sher Singh Rana’s life very well on screen.
The biopic will be produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Vishal Gurnani, Vishal Tyagi, Mohammed Imran Khan and co-produced by Juhi Parekh Mehta under the banners of Bhanushali Studios Limited and Matargashti Films. The film is scheduled to go on floors next year and the cast will be announced soon, but I must say I am very excited about this one.
