A lot of us tend to put more thought into what we should wear or could wear to particular events. While that is a good practice, I cannot stress how important it is to build a sustainable wardrobe packed with the basics first. And if you’re worried that you won’t be able to wear these basics to fancier occasions you could not be more wrong because this is where great accessories and jewellery play a major role.
Look for simple elegant pieces that you can pair with a blazer or that perfect LBD for more formal dos and invest in the funkier more quirky unique one’s that can become conversation starters at get-togethers. I can’t tell you how many times people have randomly talked to me because of a curious and peculiar piece of jewellery I was wearing. The point here is to have fun and experiment with accessories before making bigger investments in clothing. Scroll on to see some jewellery brands that we cannot get over at the moment.
1) Twinkling By Aisha
I’ve become totally obsessed with enamel rings recently, just something about the statement designs and the funky styles that really get me good.
2) Myrha By Rhea Bothra
On the other end of the spectrum, dainty necklaces when layered can really take any outfit basic or not to the next level, no?
3) AZGA Fine Artistry
Gosh, how beautiful is this pendant necklace? If you’re looking for that one standout piece especially. Can you imagine this with a pristine white shirt or a black dress?
4) Hannan Jewellery
Of course, we all love a good pair of hoops but what about pair of hoops with danglers to peer out from behind your perfectly styled locks? Can you imagine how lovely this would look when worn with anything and everything?
5) Tinge By Divya
Handmade jewellery with 3D floral detailing for the win. I’d pair them with a nice shirt or even a kurta.
6) Guftgu Phoolo Ki
How gorgeous are these frozen in time dry flowers sealed in with resin? Love the pearl dangly details that make it a versatile item that would work well with western wear and Indian wear.
7) Orange Kisses
Obsessed with these handmade, polymer clay rings. Look at those goofy faces and shapes, don’t you think these would look totally adorable with a pair of jeans and a basic tee?
