Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez has been super busy with a long list of upcoming films. She was last seen in Bhoot Police opposite, Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Yami Gautam. The starlet has Attack alongside John Abraham and Rakul Preet Singh. Cirkus with Ranveer Singh and Pooja Hegde where the former will be seen in a double role. Another film in her hat is Bachchan Pandey with Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon and lastly Ram Sethu with Akshay Kumar and Nushrratt Bharuccha. So clearly, she’s been up to a lot and we’re so excited about everything that’s coming our way in terms of films and more such glam moments.
Let’s take a closer look at Jacqueline Fernandez’s chic black & white look:
Celebrity stylist, Chandini Whabi style Jacqueline in a look from the fall/winter 2021-22 Act Collection by Maison Valentino. The entire collection focuses on the sharp contrasts of black and white and how unique cut-outs can create interesting optical patterns. This is exactly what we get from this look that we see Jacqueline in. However, let’s break what she’s wearing down. Just want to add that just all the clothes she’s wearing cost around Rs. 9.5 lakhs.
The star is seen wearing the crepe couture dress which is sort of like a pinafore with a round skirt and has a chiffon undershirt detail with an oversized collar. This is layered with an angora wool vest with a V-neck and braid detailing down the front which is almost reminiscent of the vest you would have seen retro cricketers wearing. The whole look is then layered with a double-breasted, double wool, cape pea coat. The coat features slits on the sleeves and oversized lapels. Lastly, she is seen sporting a polo neck, long-sleeved, mesh effect viscose top on the inside. I love the effect the mesh top adds to the whole look because it adds that much-needed edge to her outfit. However, I can’t help but wonder if she’s feeling really warm under all those layers in India. Guess, looking good comes with a cost!
Jacqueline completes her look with vintage Chanel, chunky CC, quilted hoops from Viange Vintage and Rockstud Alcove Kidskin, rose-coloured patent-leather pumps with gold stud detailing. These Maison Valentino shoes cost around Rs. 80,000/-. To complete this glamorous look Chandni adds the Rockstud Alcove Grainy calfskin clutch that features the iconic gold studs and a removable chain strap. The bag costs Rs. 2 lakh upwards.
Celebrity hair and makeup artist Shaan Muttathil give Jacqueline a long dramatic wing liner, lightly blushed cheeks with a rosy-brownish, matt finish lipstick and smoked out, shimmery brown eye shadow. Strong brows and mascara laden lashes complete her glam. But my favourite thing about this look has to be the modern take on the classic Jackie Kennedy hairdo. It really works wonders on this look and frames Jacqueline’s face wonderfully.
