Shaheer Sheikh and Ruchikaa Kapoor became parents to a baby girl earlier this month. And now, the actor has announced his little munchkin’s name.
The Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi star shared an unseen photo with his wife from their pregnancy days. She is seen donning a purple jumpsuit while the actor sported a casual look. He revealed they have named their daughter, Anaya.
Taking to his Instagram, Shaheer wrote, “Blessed with the gift of life. Filled with immense gratitude…need all your love and good wishes for the journey ahead. Keep us in your prayers #Anaya”.

Shaheer welcomed Anaya on September 10. According to a report by Hindustan Times, the actor was quoted as saying, “I have three nieces and one nephew and I have taken care of them for months, some from the day they were born. It is just so amazing. I can be myself when I am around kids. I don’t know why but many guys don’t feel or express these feelings. Childbirth is the biggest miracle on earth.”
On the professional front, Shaheer is currently featuring in the second season of Pavitra Rishta alongside Ankita Lokhande.
