Actress Mrunal Thakur has always been impressive with her craft, be it in Toofan or in Super 30. I have absolutely loved watching her on-screen and looks like the actress has a lot in store in the future too. However, her most exciting part seems to be in the Hindi remake of the hit Tamil film Thadam. In the film, Mrunal will be seen as a cop, opposite Aditya Roy Kapur.
And if reports are to be believed, Mrunal will be seen having a face-off with the Malang actor in the film. The Toofan actress also shared her excitement about the same on Instagram. This is the first time that Mrunal Thakur will be seen playing a strong-headed cop in the thriller directed by Vardhan Ketkar. The yet-to-be-titled film produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios will be going on floors in October this year.
Talking about the film Mrunal says,
When I heard the story of the film, I instantly knew that I needed to be a part of this film. My character is very intriguing and playing a cop has been on my checklist. This will be a very distinct role from all the characters I have played till now and I am looking forward to audiences watching this one.
I am sure, Mrunal will slay as a cop in this film. Other than this thriller, Mrunal will be seen in Jersey opposite Shahid Kapoor, she also has Aankh Micholi, Pippa, and another Telugu film in her kitty. I am quite excited to see different shades of Mrunal on screen.
