We cannot forget the tough time that the pandemic gave us. We still haven’t won the battle against the virus, but I guess we can say we are inching towards victory with the help of vaccinations. Actor Sonu Sood has constantly been in the news for his humanitarian work. Since the first phase of the lockdown, he has helped thousands of people who have been affected by the virus and the lockdown.
For more than a year, Sonu and his team have reached out to many who have been hit by the pandemic in a bad manner. From helping people who were stranded reach their homes to setting up oxygen plants in hospitals, the actor has fulfilled his commitment every time. Recently, Sonu collaborated with businessman-entrepreneur Shadab Wahab to provide oxygen supply in Bengaluru.
As per a report on ETimes, Sonu Sood said-
Who would have thought that oxygen supply would become a concern during such a tough time! I’ve always been proactive in helping my fellow citizens and this collaboration with yet another effort in that direction. Our oxygen drive in Bengaluru was a huge success and I’m so grateful that I could help my countrymen.
Businessman Shadab Wahad said-
As the combat with Covid-19 toughens, the medical system and frontline workers are burdened under more and more pressure and therefore any help volunteered is a huge relief to the system as well as to the inflicted. This is what encouraged us to start the drive
Sonu and his team have been working round the clock to reach out to as many people as possible on a daily basis. On the work front, he will next be seen sharing the screen space with Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar in Prithviraj Chauhan.
