Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a dream director for many. In fact, it is truly a dream come true for any actor to be a part of an SLB film. Whenever an actor is spotted at the filmmaker’s office, we all strat wonder if they are going to collaborate on a project soon. Something similar happened when actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja was seen visiting SLB’s office. And this gave rise to rumors of them doing a film together, however, SLB has now clarified that this is not the case.
Sonam had just dropped by the filmmaker’s office as a friendly visit. Commenting on the same, Sanjay Leela Bhansali told Spotboye that,
There are many actors who come to visit. We chat over a cup of tea. We don’t have to work together just because we are meeting socially.
Well, I am not shocked that people thought about Sonam doing a film with SLB, for they go long back. In fact, both Sonam and Ranbir Kapoor were launched in the industry in 2007 with SLB’s Saawariya. In the past, some other actors like Ranbir, Kartik Aaryan, and even Deepika Padukone have been spotted paying friendly visits to the Bhansali Productions office.
I must say, the maverick filmmaker always creates magic on screen and I am eager to watch his next Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt on the big screen soon, there is also Heeramandi on the cards. Sonam on the other hand will be next seen in the film Blind. But wouldn’t it be amazing for the actress and the filmmaker to come together for another project? What do you think?
