One of the most talked-about collaborations, Hansal Mehta, Anubhav Sinha, and Bhushan Kumar come together for a film based on true events. Yesterday, some of the big names from the film industry shared their excitement as they launched a 12-hour live countdown from 9.20 am to 9.20 pm before unveiling the poster.
As per the reports of Bollywood Hungama, ‘Faraaz‘ will mark the Bollywood debut of Zahan Kapoor alongside Aditya Rawal. This film is a joint production of Anubhav and Bhushan which will tell us the story of the Holey Artisan cafe attack that shook Bangladesh in July 2016. Hansal in a recent statement to the media said, “Faraaz’s story is special for me not only because it’s rooted in reality but also because it has stayed with me for nearly three years.”
Filmmaker Anubhav also said, “Faraaz is a human story based on one of the darkest days in modern history. It is a film that is close to our hearts. From launching new actors to getting the gaze of the film right, we have done our best to imbue this story with ingenuity while keeping it suspenseful and thrilling. It’s a film that will give the audience a deeply intimate look into what happened that night.”
