Ajay Devgn
has given us some of the biggest Bollywood hits of all time and now he is all set to make his debut on the OTT platform alongside Esha Deol, in a crime-drama web series titled, Rudra – The Edge Of Darkness. This series will mark Esha’s comeback into the spotlight after a long hiatus and fans are excited to see her back in action.
Rudra – The Edge Of Darkness helmed by Rajesh Mapuskar is the official remake of the much-loved British web series titled, Luther. In this series, we will get to see Ajay Devgn play the role of a cop and one thing we know for sure is that Ajay never fails to impress us with his cop avatar, considering his previous hits, Singham & Singham Returns. Esha took to social media to announce the news of her comeback, however, the details of her role in the series haven’t been disclosed yet.

As per a report on Bollywood Hungama, When asked about her role in the series, Esha said-
I am really happy to collaborate with Applause and BBC Studios for Rudra – The Edge of Darkness on Disney+ Hotstar VIP. As an actor, I believe in working on projects that would let me explore something new and engage me as a viewer as well. This series is a fresh take on the quintessential cop drama, with a grey overtone, something which has not been explored in the Indian context before.I am charged up for my digital debut with this one and I am looking forward to working with Ajay Devgn after a long time.
Rudra, produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India is slated to release soon on Disney + Hotstar VIP.
