It’s been almost a year post the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput but the media and public are still mourning the loss and trying to seek justice. His girlfriend and actress, Rhea Chakraborty underwent some serious grueling sessions and 365 days later she is still trying to recover from the trauma. Rhea filmed a movie titled Chehre before Sushant’s demise, and the director of the movie, Rumi Jaffery recently opened up and spoke about her role in the film.
Chehre, a mystery-thriller film helmed by Rumi Jaffery and produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited will feature Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rumi stated that Rhea won’t be seen doing media promotions for Chehre and said she is still trying to get out of her trauma.
When asked about Rhea’s role in Chehre, Rumi Jaffery Said-
To be honest, she doesn’t have that much to do in Chehre. So those who go to see my film in the hope of getting a good look at Rhea are in for a disappointment. The main focus of interest is Bachchan Saab and Emraan’s jugalbandi. Their interaction is what gives the film its tense appeal.
When asked about Amitabh Bachchan’s role in Chehre, Rumi Jaffery Said-
He will surprise you. His passion for creating new characters breaking fresh grounds in every film, are very much on display in Chehre. Most directors want to work with Bachchan Saab, so they will have his name on their biodata. But I want to work with him again to show how much I still have to do with him.
The release date of Chehre hasn’t been revealed yet but I cant wait to see this thriller on the big screen.
