Rajpal Yadav is undoubtedly one of the best comedians in the industry. He makes humour look easy and gets it right every single time. The actor was put behind the bars in 2018 after failing to repay a loan of Rs. 5 crores and that marked the lowest phase of his career.
Recently in an interview with a radio host, Rajpal opened up and spoke about his tough times. He revealed how his friends from Bollywood helped him out, and said that he wouldn’t be where he is currently without their support. The actor further added that the financial crunch was so bad that he would avoid public transport and choose to walk instead.
Speaking about his struggles, the actor says-
I feel everyone should keep their doors open for others… How would I be here if people didn’t help me out? The whole world was with me, and I had my beliefs to keep me going. I knew that I had all the support I needed.
When you land up in Mumbai, an unfamiliar new city, where you share an auto with others to get to Borivali… Then, when you don’t have money for an auto, you walk to Juhu, Lokhandwala, Adarsh Nagar, Goregaon, sometimes even Bandra, carrying your photo with you, looking for some success, then what are you talking about? If life seems tough, the mission is easy. If life seems easy, the mission becomes tough.
On the work front, Rajpal will next be seen in Hungama 2 alongside Meezaan, Paresh Rawal, and Shilpa Shetty.
