Everyone is dealing with the current scenario differently. Some are cooking, returning to their hobbies, or learning new skills. At the same time, others (such as me) have found comfort in binge-watching series on digital platforms. Though I don’t have a favourite genre that I like to watch, I have lately come across some lovely content on the homegrown OTT app, ALTBalaji. So, I have put together a list of 5 shows that you should watch on the OTT platform.
Broken But Beautiful 3
Broken But Beautiful is a romantic web series that revolves around love, heartbreak, and all things romance. The third season of the show recently dropped. It stars Sidharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee in lead roles. Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi headlined the first and second seasons of the show. Apart from a beautiful story, the show’s playlist is sure to touch your heart.
The Test Case
Headlined by the super-talented actor Nimrat Kaur, ‘The Test Case‘ chronicles Captain Shikha Sharma‘s journey as she trains to become the first woman test case in combat in the Indian Army. The gripping show also features some of the impeccable actors in the industry, namely, Akshay Oberoi, Atul Kulkarni, Rahul Dev, and Anup Soni.
Apharan
If you are a sucker for crime-thriller, then Apaharan has got you covered. Starring Arunoday Singh, Mahie Gill, and Nidhi Singh, the show is set in the current times and revolves around kidnapping, suspense, and action. The show is sure to keep you at the edge of your seat.
The Married Woman
Starring Ridhi Dogra, Monica Dogra, Suhaas Ahuja, Rahul Vohra, and Ayesha Raza Mishra, ‘The Married Woman‘ is set in the early 90s when homosexuality was a crime in the law’s eye. It chronicles a woman’s journey to self-discovery, love, and much more.
Mentalhood
Mentalhood is an unconventional journey of imperfect parents who are protective, paranoid, fun, and fierce. The show marked the digital debut of Karisma Kapoor and also starred Shruti Seth, Tilotamma Shome, Sandhya Mridul, and Shilpa Shukla, among others.
