Amid the ongoing pandemic, most parts of the country were under strict lockdown to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus. From small businesses to cinema halls, state governments had asked everyone to keep their establishments shut as per the Covid-19 protocol. Slowly things have started to look better as the number of Covid-19 cases has dropped down drastically. It is surely a big relief for the Bollywood industry as they can resume back with their shooting schedule.
Actor, Sidharth Malhotra had started shooting for Indra Kumar’s next film, ‘Thank God‘ before the second wave of the pandemic. Unfortunately, due to the lockdown, the shooting schedule was stopped and there was a delay in the production of the film. As the number of cases is dropping down on a daily basis and more and more people being vaccinated, it is a good sign for the film industry as they resume back with film shoots.
As per the reports of Bollywood Hungama, Sidharth will resume shooting for his upcoming film, ‘Thank God’ in July. In a statement released to the media recently, the actor said, “It’s been a long wait and I have been looking forward to getting back to the hustle-bustle of film shoots. Elated to shoot again and see the happy and creative flow of energy that was truly missed.” I am super excited to see Sidharth in this film and can’t wait to watch what he has in store for us with his on-screen performance.
With that said, hope everyone is staying safe at home and taking care of themselves. Always wear a mask when you step out and sanitize your hands regularly.
