The second wave of Covid-19 has hit India in a pretty bad manner. Due to the lockdown and Covid-19 related protocols, cinema halls across India are shut. Now, when the situation in most of the parts of India looks a little better, there is a hope that Cinema halls will re-open soon. ‘Bell Bottom‘ was among the first Hindi films to be shot after the first wave of the pandemic as Akshay Kumar led the unit to Scotland and subsequently, London, last August for a start-to-finish schedule.
Recently, the team announced that the film will have a theatrical release on July 27. The film also features, Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, and Lara Dutta. As per the reports of Mid-day, Vaani shared her thoughts on the film saying, “I am thankful to the producers and Akshay for their decision to release ‘Bell Bottom’ in theatres. Hopefully, the film will play a huge role in bringing people back to cinema halls.”
Vaani also believes that the film is a solid product, and one has to watch it to know what Akshay has done. I am really excited to see what this film has in store for us and at the same time would really want this film to be one of the breakthrough points in bringing back people to cinema halls.
