Over the past few years, filmmakers have been collaborating with actors whom they have worked with before. Many a time, filmmakers have their own preferences of who they would like to cast for a particular film. As per the reports of Bollywood Hungama, actor Ayushmann Khurrana and director, Aanand L. Rai are most likely to collaborate once again after the Shub Mangal Saavdhan franchise.
The film is said to be completely different from what the duo has done in the past. Ayushmann who is currently scheduled to start shooting for his upcoming film, ‘Doctor G‘ might be roped in by filmmaker Aanand for his next, as per the reports. Previously when this duo worked together, people loved their film, and Ayushmann was praised for his 0n-screen performance.
Reports also state that the film will be directed by Anirudh Iyer Ganapathy, who has worked with Aanand before in films like ‘Zero’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns.’ Not many details are out about this collaboration yet. There is also no news on who might play the lead opposite Ayushmann in this film.
On the work front, Ayushmann has wrapped the shooting of his upcoming films, ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui‘ and ‘Anek.’ I am super excited for these two films and can’t wait to see what the entire cast has in store.
