Indoo Ki Jawaani Producer Ryan Stephen Passes Away Due To COVID-19

Amid the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen many of our loved ones and many known personalities from all walks of life succumb to the deadly virus. Just today, we got news of producer Ryan Stephen passed away after his battle with COVID-19 early today morning. He was behind the production of films like the recent Kiara Advani-starrer, Indoo Ki Jawani and the critically-acclaimed short film, Devi, among others.

He was battling the virus for almost two weeks in a hospital in Goa. Indoo Ki Jawani director, Abir Sengupta shared the news with Indian Express. He also previously associated with Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions. Mourning his sudden loss, actors Kiara Advani, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan took to their Instagram accounts to pay their condolences. Kiara, who worked closely with him in Indoo Ki Jawani wrote, ‘Our Dearest Ryan, Gone Too Soon’. Manoj Bajpayee also took to his Twitter to remember the late producer.
