The makers of ‘Major‘, featuring Adivi Sesh as the martyr Sandeep Unnikrishnan, has announced to defer the theatrical release of the film amidst the Covid-19 induced lockdown. The makers will release the film after the situation gets back to normal.
Making an official announcement for the postponement of release, the makers said, “We are living in unprecedented times and we hope you all are following all the safety protocols and staying safe. Our film Major, which was originally scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 2nd July, is now postponed to a later date: WE WILL ANNOUNCE THE NEW RELEASE DATE ONCE THINGS ARE BACK TO NORMAL. Times are tough but so are we. – Team Major”.

‘Major’ stars Adivi Sesh, Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala in leading roles. Helmed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the film is jointly bankrolled by Sony Pictures Films India, Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment, and A+S movies.
