The second wave of Covid-19 has hit India really hard and has left the people struggling for medical aid and emergency supplies. Things surely don’t look good for the entertainment industry as well because of shoots being stopped and movie theatres being shut. Team ‘Ek Villain Returns‘ fortunately wrapped up their shoot schedule in Goa just before the government imposed a state curfew. As per the reports of Mid-Day, Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor is in support of the restrictions levied by the state governments to curb the spread of the virus.
Arjun strongly believes that the safety of every crew member on film sets is of utmost importance. He says “As actors, we are always protected, but what about the people who are in charge of different departments while making a film. They too have families back home. We need to function with humanity amid the pandemic.” He also is really happy to see that the country is working together on more important things.
On the work front, Arjun will be next seen in Mohit Suri’s ‘Ek Villain Returns’ alongside John Abraham, Tara Sutaria, Disha Patani, and Aditya Roy Kapur. The entire cast looks really promising and I am excited to watch this film, once it releases.
I hope each one of you is safe at home and taking care of yourselves. Always wear a mask and sanitize your hands regularly.
