The ongoing situation in India doesn’t look good as there’s a surge in the number of Covid-19 patients. In tough times such as these, the entire world has come together to join hands and help India to get through with the second wave of Covid-19. Several Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities have stepped forward to help India fight the battle against the pandemic. It was recently when Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas joined hands with GiveIndia Foundation and raised USD 1 million.
Several Bollywood celebrities Like Anupam Kher, Hema Malini, Amitabh Bachchan, Sonu Sood, and others have been constantly working along with NGOs to raise funds to support people with medical aid and life-saving medical equipment. As per the reports of Mid-Day, after achieving the initial target of USD 1 million, the couple has now aimed at raising USD 3 million for India’s Covid-19 relief fund. Priyanka took to Twitter to encourage people around the world to donate to this cause and help India get much-needed oxygen concentrators and other crucial medical equipment.
