Her songs have the vibe and energy which make them an instant hit on reels and other social media platforms. Her latest song, Jee Ni Karda from Sardar Ka Grandson, is the perfect mood-lifter and a go-to dance song!
Jee Ni Karda is the remix version and the recreation of the 2012 track Dhoor by Manak-E. The new version has been sung by Jass Manak, Manak-E, Nikhita Gandhi, and composed by Tanishk Bagchi. It is a peppy Punjabi track with the right combination of dhol beats and some groovy steps which will definitely get you moving.
When asked about the song, Nikhita Said –
I’ve collaborated with Tanishk for a lot of songs in the past as well, and Jee Ni Karda is Jass Manak’s debut Bollywood song and I had a wonderful time working with the two of them. Jee Ni Karda has a complete Punjabi vibe to it and I’m part Bengali and Punjabi, so through songs like these I get to explore my Punjabi side, and I love that.
Nikhita has many accolades to her fame, the singer recently collaborated with pop-singer Pink Sweats for a beautiful rendition of the latter’s musical track, At my worst. Nikhita added her own twist and charm to the song with her soulful voice.
When asked about the collaboration with Pink Sweats, Nikhita said-
It has always been my dream to make international music and I still remember, I was in Calcutta with my parents when I read the message that I will be collaborating with Pink Sweat and I was so elated. I got on a video call with him and his team and it was such a cool experience. It was my pleasure to be on the album playlist. I cant wait to do more of this, I loved the entire process from writing to singing. There is another International track on the way and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.
Nikhita has big plans and projects lined up for this year and currently, she is a part of the reality TV show, Indian Pro Music League where she is one of the panelists and a member of the Bengal tiger’s team.
