While India continues to battle the second wave of Covid-19 and the lack of medical infrastructure, several Bollywood celebrities have extended their support and have helped the ones in distress. Covid warriors like Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary, Amitabh Bachchan, and many more have been reaching out to people who are affected by the virus, on a daily basis. As per the sources at Mid-Day, Bollywood actress, Tisca Chopra is doing her bit to reach out and help transgenders and widows who have been affected by the Pandemic.
As per reports, the actress along with Chef Vikas Khanna has started an initiative called ‘India For Mothers‘ which aims to support widows and transgenders in India who are affected by the ongoing pandemic. Most of the mothers are not just nurturers but also providers who have been jobless during the lockdown.
This is a wonderful initiative that will help widows and transgenders who are in distress. This is not the first time that the actress has extended her support. During the first phase of the lockdown last year, Tisca and her team delivered meals to nurses and ward boys at Covid wards to show love and support for their selfless work.
I hope everyone is doing good and staying safe at home. Always wear a mask and sanitize your hands regularly.
