The Brit Awards 2021 took place yesterday in London’s O2 Arena and was a celebration of music with the biggest and finest of the music industry present. The awards was hosted by comedian, Jack Whitehall and saw Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles and many others in attendance, making it one starry evening!
The awards sure was a special one as Taylor Swift made history by becoming the first female singer to win the Global Icon award. Harry Styles, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa and Billie Eilish were among the big winners of the night. Taylor’s speech from the night was talked about for being inspirational and inspiring as she said, “There is no career path that comes free of negativity. If you’re being met with resistance, that probably means that you are doing something new. If you’re experiencing turbulence or pressure, that probably means you are rising.” Taylor, Olivia Rodrigo and Dua Lipa also stole the show with their power-packed performances on stage.
