Kumar Mangat Pathak & Abhishek Pathak’s Panorama Studios International has obtained the rights to make the Hindi remake of the Malayalam superhit movie, Drishyam 2 – The Resumption. The film starred Mohanlal in the lead.
For the unversed, Drishyam has been remade in a number of languages, including Hindi. After the success of Drishyam 2 – The Resumption, the production house plans to replicate the success of Drishyam 2 Hindi language. The details of who will direct the remake and the cast will be announced soon.
The Hindi Drishyam (2015) starred Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Shriya Saran in key roles which was also backed by Panorama Studios.

According to a report by Firstpost, the director of the original film, Jeethu Joseph was quoted as saying, “The story of Drishyam 2 resonated with people and I am so glad that Panorama Studios will make it reach to a wider audience with the Hindi remake. I am looking forward to it.”
For the unversed, Drishyam 2 was shot during the pandemic last year. The film premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 19 February. The film also featured Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil in key roles.
