It has been a year already when Indian cinema lost one of its finest actors, Irrfan Khan. The actor needed no introduction and was known around the globe for his work. He was also a part of a few Hollywood films like Slumdog Millionaire, New York, I love you, The Amazing Spider-Man, Life of Pie, and Jurrasic World. There is no doubt that his brilliant on-screen performances got him recognition and success in all his films.
As per the sources at Mid-Day, to mark the first death anniversary of Irrfan, wife Sutapa Sikdar took to social media to pen an emotional note in his memory. To express Irrfan’s influence on her life, she quoted his favorite writer, Anais Nin, writing, “People living deeply have no fear of death.” The note also talks about the actors last night at the hospital and how his wife and her friends sang songs for him. Sutapa also wrote about the emotional turmoil she went through.
Irrfan was loved by millions, not just for his on-screen life but also for his off-screen life. I am sure his family and loved ones will never be able to get over missing Irrfan as he was their biggest encouragement and support. The actor has surely left behind a legacy and I as a fan will always miss him.
While we in this current situation stay indoors, let us remember to always wear a mask whenever needed and take care of our health and that of our near and dear ones. Stay safe, stay at home.
