The second wave of COVID-19 has hit India quite hard in the past two months. The government has imposed a lockdown in many parts of the country and celebrities and famous personalities are doing all they can to help the ones in need. Taking into consideration the current situation, actor Gurmeet Choudhary took to social media to announce that he will be opening hospitals in Lucknow and Patna to help with the COVID outbreak.
Gurmeet, in his recent post, said that the hospitals will have ultra-modern facilities along with 1000 beds. The actor also thanked Sonu Sood for inspiring him to take this decision and help people in such a crucial time. Lately, more and more celebrities have been extending a helping hand towards people who are in desperate need of medical assistance. Bhumi Pednekar, Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan are amongst the many celebrities who have opted to stand with the people of our country in times such as these.
