In 2020, ‘Kabir Singh‘ producer Murad Khetani had announced his next project, the Hindi remake of the Tamil film, ‘Thadam.’ The film was all set to star Sidharth Malhotra alongside Mrunal Thakur. Sidharth was set to essay a dual role in the film, but reports now suggest that he has now politely opted out of the film. Not much details are known about the reason as to why the actor has left the film.
According to a Bollywood Hungama article, the makers have now locked another star to play the lead. Aditya Roy Kapoor will be seen in the lead role now. It’s an action-packed film which will have double roles and it will be Aditya’s first double role ever. I am super excited to see Mrunal and Aditya come together on-screen for the first time with the Thadam remake.
Apart from this, there aren’t many details that have been shared. Aditya is amidst wrapping up his upcoming film with director Ahmed Khan and will soon be starting work on this project.
Here’a wishing the entire cast and crew of this remake all the luck. I can’t wait to catch it on the big screen!
