Indian cinema has, time and again, impressed people around the world for several years. Many Indian films have been nominated and have even won international Film awards in the past. Actors from Indian film industry have also been appreciated and admired all over the world.
One such film that has been recognised internationally recently has been Adil Hussain and Tillotama Shome‘s upcoming film, Raahgir, directed by Gautam Ghose.
It is the opening film at the 23rd UK Asia Film Festival which starts on 26th May. The film’s story revolves around an encounter between two underprivileged people who are trying to find economic opportunities.
While Adil is known for films like ‘Life of Pi’, ‘English Vinglish’, and ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’, Tillotama on the other hand has made her mark with roles in films like ‘Monsoon Weddings’, ‘Qissa’ and ‘Sir‘.
This is definitely a proud moment, not just for the cast and crew of this film, but also for Indian cinema. With a cast as talented as Tillotama and Adil, who are renowned and appreciated for their immaculate performances, I am very positive about Raahgir being a special film to watch out for. Wishing the team all the luck with the film!
