Finally, the movie that kept us all waiting decided to show up at the right time! With the lockdown confusion settling over us again, this news sounds like we finally have something good in the entertainment world which is going to lighten our minds at least for a bit. The makers of the Fast & Furious franchise just dropped the trailer of Fast and Furious 9, and I feel calling it mind-blowing would be an understatement. The trailer caught all the fans in a frenzy and why would it not? The F&F movies are known for the thrill, speedy cars, and high-octane stunts that never fail to blow our minds.
The trailer starts with an epic chase between Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Jakob Toretto (John Cena), where the former makes the big revelation of Jakob being his brother. With the siblings finding themselves on different sides of the law, we witness the two go toe to toe. While the two take all the plaudits, the rest of Dom’s gang bring in their fair share of death-defying action. The trailer also marks the return of a character who we thought we’d never see again. Well, I won’t reveal anything after this because I don’t want you to miss out on watching this trailer, which let me tell you, is nothing like what you have seen before.

F9 is directed by Justin Lin, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Daniel Casey. This movie is the sequel to The Fate of the Furious (2017), the ninth main installment, and the tenth full-length film released overall in the Fast & Furious franchise. Besides Vin Diesel, the cast members returning to F9 include Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Chris Bridges (aka Ludacris), Nathalie Emmanuel, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron. As far as the fresh faces go, John Cena joins Cardi B and Ozuna as a newcomer to the star-studded line-up.
