Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest actors in B-town right now. Khiladi Kumar recently wrapped Atrangi Re over the weekend and is already on the sets of Ram Setu. Akshay took to his Twitter and shared that he has started the shoot of the film on Tuesday.
Akshay also unveiled his first look from the film, where he is all set to play the role of an archaeologist. He can be seen sporting a pair of glasses and wore his hair longer than usual. Sharing the picture, Akshay also asked the netizens to share their feedback. The actor’s caption read—”The journey of making one of the most special films for me begins today. #RamSetu shooting begins! Playing an archaeologist in the film. Ram Setu will be helmed by Abhishek Sharma and will also feature Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha. According to reports, the film will be shot predominantly in Mumbai. According to a report by Hindustan Times, talking about Akshay’s character, the filmmaker revealed that the actor plays an archaeologist and his look and character is inspired by several Indian and international professional archaeologists who work in the field. As for Jacqueline and Nushrratt, Abhishek said that they both play strong, independent women with well-etched out parts. and they are keeping their looks under wraps for now.
Apart from Ram Setu, Akshay has many other projects in the pipeline which includes Sooryavanshi, Bell Bottom, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey and Atrangi Re.
