There are rumours doing rounds that Tollywood star Naga Chaitanya is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan‘s Laal Singh Chaddha. According to reports, Telugu star Naga Chaitanya has been approached to play a significant role in Aamir Khan’s much-awaited film. The tabloids suggest that Chaitanya has replaced Vijay Sethupathi in the film and is likely to start the shoot in the month of May. The actor has assigned dates for May and is reportedly elated to be a part of the film.
However, an official announcement hasn’t been made by Aamir Khan or Naga Chaitanya himself. For the unversed, South star Vijay Sethupathi walked out of Laal Singh Chaddha due to date issues. However, according to a few media reports, it was a fallout between Sethupathi and Aamir Khan that led to the former walking out of the film. Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi remake of Tom Hanks’ film Forrest Gump and it stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as the female lead. The movie will also see Mona Singh in a pivotal role.
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya is currently filming for his next titled Thank You. The actor is also awaiting the grand release of his film titled, Love story. Helmed by Sekhar Kammula, the film stars Sai Pallavi alongside him. The film is all set to hit the theatres on April 16.
