During the nationwide lockdown last year, a lot of big films took to the OTT route considering the theatres were shut down. One of the films to go the OTT route was Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgn‘s The Big Bull.
Now, the makers finally released the teaser of the film and announced its release date. The film is all set to release digitally on Disney+ Hotstar VIP on 8th April. The trailer of the film is set to drop on 19th March. Sharing the video on his social media, Abhishek wrote, “Introducing The Big Bull…the mother of all scams!!!”

The teaser shows only shots of Abhishek’s back, who plays Hemant Shah — the guy who rocks the stock market in Mumbai in the 1980s and early 1990s. Producer and actor Ajay Devgn introduces Abhishek’s character in the film, saying that people always discourage those born in less-privileged houses from dreaming big, and that’s why they take it upon themselves to make it large in life.
The film does remind us all of the very famous and acclaimed series, Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story directed by Hansal Mehta. The director event took to his social media to wish the team and said he is looking forward to watching Abhishek play Hemant Shah.
I am also equally excited to see Abhishek and Ajay in this film that also stars Ileana D’Cruz, Ram Kapoor, Sumit Vats, Sohum Shah, Nikita Dutta and Lekha Tripathi in pivotal roles. The film is being produced by Ajay and Anand Pandit.
